Chenin Blanc is south Africa’s signature white grape – and this wonderfully fresh release is a delicious example of the wines it can produce. It’s crafted by Stellenrust, one of South Africa’s most prestigious family-run wineries in premium Stellenbosch. Their vines are grown high in the Bottelary Hills, an area known for its cool climate and sea breezes which lend great freshness and concentrated flavours to the grapes – as you’ll taste with this elegant white wine. A large portion of the old-vine fruit is fermented in stainless steel, with the remainder in oak to lend more complexity. Expect citrus, pineapple and apricot flavours with a refreshing mineral finish. Great for solo sipping and a fine for match chicken or spicy Asian dishes.
