Description
It’s hardly surprising that Gerhard Swart is considered one of the best in the business. After all, his Pinotages have been counted among the Top 10 in South Africa. Not to mention the accolades: the General Smuts Trophy in 2010, Winemaker of the Year in 2017, 5 Stars from John Platter and more. But, despite that bursting trophy cabinet, he’s still looking for ways to improve. As he says, you “have to be thinking about how you can stand out from the crowd, to create wines that are intriguing and unique”. Grill House is a testament to this passion. Thanks to the combination of Pinotage and Shiraz it’s full of bold character and flavour. Rich with a deep undertow of black berry fruits and spice, it’s spot on with a sizzling steak.
