Hailing from the Bon Courage Estate in the renowned Robertson region, this Sauvignon has benefited from the thriving family foundations that have been built around the beautiful 19th century Cape Dutch homestead. Originally bought at auction, the Bon Courage Estate was founded in 1927 by Willie Bruwer. His son Andre took the helm in 1965 and started reaping the rewards of the vineyard, receiving many awards. Rustenberg Syrah 2007/2008, Stellenbosch
From one of South Africa’s top wineries comes this deep intense Syrah. With pronounced savoury aromas and concentrated dark fruit on the nose the palate has an added spicy dimension with cloves, cinnamon and violets dominating the mix. The finish is long, rich and surprisingly fresh. Best enjoyed with a rich dish like osso buco.

De Wetshof Estate ‘Bateleur’ Chardonnay
This wine is a reflection of Danie de Wet’s personal taste combining great depth and length of flavour with elegance and finesse. An in depth knowledge of his specific vineyard plots, allows him, in conjunction with barrel selection, to craft one of the best Chardonnays made in South Africa. Full spectrum of Chardonnay flavours explode in the mouth, but are tempered with fresh zingy lime acidity and a creamy textured finish.
Laibach Pinotage
The Daddy of all wines, this is one of South Africa’s finest examples of this grape variety. Winemaker Francois van Zyl is good mates with Beyers Truter(the king of Pinotage)and has styled this version to capture big bold plum flavours and complex fruit whilst still retaining a smooth creamy texture. Aged in oak the wine is deep purple in colour, exhibiting lovely juicy flavours. Warm and pleasing on the palate, this gold medal winner is Pinotage at its very best.
