Description
Light golden wheat colour. Layered expressions of citrus and tropical fruit with subtle layers of honey and almonds in the background. Balanced and superbly structured, the flavours are complimented by a delicate minerality. Procured from old Swartland dry land bushvines, this Chenin Blanc is characterized by a complex and intense concentration of flavours due to its low yielding vines. Layered expressions of citrus and tropical fruit surrender to subtle notes of honey and almonds. Matured for 10 months – 60% in 400 litre French oak and 40% in 2500 litre Foudre barrels – this wine is balanced and superbly structured.
