 Rustenberg John X Merriman 2008 Stellenbosch, South Africa

A brilliant Merlot-dominated Bordeaux blend, showing red-berry fruits, chocolate and a round, spicy earthiness. John Xavier Merriman, a South African PM of the early 20th century, purchased land in the Stellenbosch region in 1892 which in later years became the Rustenberg Estate. Try with roast meats.
